El Museo Cultural was founded in 1995 and has been sustained through the dedication of its members and volunteers. El Museo has created a center in the Santa Fe Railyard over the last 22 years to present and share Hispanic culture and learning experiences. We are dedicated to the preservation, promotion and enhancement of the art, culture and living traditions of Northern New Mexico.
We seek to create an awareness and understanding of historical and contemporary values of Latino consciousness, cultivating a cultural knowledge base that includes the arts, language, history, literature and family traditions. We partner with the larger multi-cultural community, to convey and share our Hispanic heritage.
Members of El Museo fund the continuation of ongoing programs, special projects and new development. As a non-profit organization El Museo depends upon community support. Your membership helps us serve the public with quality programs for all.
