El Museo Cultural is hosting an exhibit of award-winning Peruvian painter Braddy Romero July 1-31. Opening reception Friday July 6 5-7pm. Braddy is an indigenous artist from outside of Cusco, Peru. He has exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cusco, the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, D.C., NYC, and galleries in Southern California, among many others. Due to U.S. visa restrictions, he was unable to make the trip to Santa Fe but his large colorful, modern pieces are available for viewing beginning July 1. The museum is open Weds-Sunday afternoons from 12 noon.
