Exhibit: Peruvian Artist Braddy Romero Ricalde

Braddy Romero Ricalde
Braddy was born in Cusco, Peru in 1976. He studied art at the Diego Quispe Tito Institute of Fine Arts in Cusco and furthered his studies of classic European drawing with Edwin Chavez Farfan, a maestro of local renown.
In 2003, Braddy was selected by the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, D.C. as that year’s promising young Latin American artist. His paintings and drawings were exhibited in the IDB’s Atrium Gallery in August 2003. He has recently participated in collective exhibits at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo (Cusco), the Monic Golstrom Gallery in New York , the SpaceonSpurgeon Gallery, Santa Ana, California, and the Centro de Convenciones in Lima, Peru.
He has had individual exhibits at the National Institute of Culture ( Cusco), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Cusco), the Sala de Cultura of the Banco Wiesse, S.A. (Cusco), the Museum of the Convento de Santo Domingo (Qoricancha, Peru), the Sala de Cultura de la Alianza Francesa (Arequipa, Peru), and the Golden Gate Gallery (San Francisco, California).
