An Evening Honoring the Work of Sam Shepard

July 29, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm MDT

Free

The work of Sam Shepard has inspired Ironweed Productions since our beginning.

Fool for Love was our first production in Santa Fe in 2005, followed by productions of True West in 2006 and Buried Child in 2013. Each adventure with his material has been both extremely challenging and incredibly exhilarating.

On Sunday July 29th, the weekend marking a year since Sam Shepard’s death, Ironweed will present an evening of readings honoring his work.

This will be a free event at 7:00pm at El Museo Cultural which was the home of our production of True West, as well as six other Ironweed productions over the years.

The evening will include readings from Fool for Love, True West and Buried Child, as well as selected pieces from Motel Chronicles, Cruising Paradise, Great Dream of Heaven, Day Out of Days and his final book Spy of the First Person.

Following the readings there will be a reception in the gallery space.
